His training is almost entirely self-taught. He recalls trying to draw reality as he saw it since he was four years old. Passionate about drawing, he has practiced it frequently throughout his life.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRealistic painting is something frozen in time, but Mesa tries to transcend that and go a bit further. Starting from an image stripped of movement, he seeks to make time resurface when the viewer's eye captures it, allowing it to be constantly renewed by individual appreciation.
